Yes, of course. You can cancel your monthly membership at any time.

We understand circumstances change and will be sorry to see you go and welcome you back with open arms when you are ready to let us take care of your meal planning again.

We really appreciate customer feedback, so if you choose to cancel for any reason we would love to know why.  This way we can constantly improve our service and offerings.

No. You can access your membership up until your final date. Our membership page is only available for members with active subscriptions.

Yes and No. Whilst we always start our week with a meatless Monday, all other days include fish, meat or poultry. We will offer vegetarian substitutions with all of our recipes. At the moment we do not offer a vegan meal plan but please send an email to hello@thedinnerplanner.com.au and let me know if you’d like one. 

Yes, as with vegetarians we will offer substitution suggestions for you. Unfortunately our recipes cannot be changed with these substitutions but you can easily adjust the shopping list yourself.

Our recipes cater to all schedules and cooking styles! You’ll find options ranging from quick and fabulous 15-minute meals (especially if you’ve prepped the ingredients ahead of time) to more typical 30-40 minute dishes. We even offer slow cooker recipes for those days when you want to set it and forget it. Our goal is to make your weeknights easier, not have you spending long evenings in the kitchen.

On average, each recipe costs around $5-6 per portion, though this can vary depending on the dish. We carefully plan our menus to ensure that if one recipe is more expensive, we balance it with more budget-friendly options, keeping the overall cost consistent across the four recipes. Additionally, since you get to choose your own ingredients, you have the flexibility to control costs even further.

Absolutely! Our approach to “kid-friendly” isn’t about making separate meals for kids and adults—it’s about creating delicious food that everyone can enjoy. We believe in encouraging kids to try new things, so our meals are designed with the whole family in mind. Many of our recipes can be offered in “deconstructed” versions, allowing kids to pick and choose their favorite parts. If a dish has some heat, we keep it mild and suggest adding extra chili on the side for those who like it spicier. This way, you don’t have to spend time making two different meals!

Not currently, but our website is designed to work like an app! You can easily create a shortcut and add it to your home screen for quick access, just like you would with any app.

Lucky you! If you’re going away, you can easily place your membership on hold by visiting the members’ area. You can pause your subscription for up to two weeks at a time. If you need a longer, just reach out to us, and we’ll take care of it for you.
