Ingredients
- 500 grams beef mince
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ red onion - finely diced (or thinly sliced if cooking)
- 1 iceburg lettuce - shredded
- 1 punnet cherry tomatoes - halved
- 100 grams tasty cheese - grated
- pickles
Burger Sauce
- ¼ BBQ sauce - we used mingle
- ¼ mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard
Instructions
- Step 1 - prepare the salad ingredients, shred the lettuce, cut tomatoes and dice/slice onion.
- Step 2 - heat the olive oil in a large frypan on the stove on high heat. Add the mince, garlic and onion powders and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally for 5-6 minutes.
- Step 3 - make the burger sauce by combining the bbq sauce, mayo and dijon in a small bowl.
